My 3 month journey around Southeast Asia begins in the Philippines. I’m staying in the heart of Metro Manila in Makati City.
Here in Makati there is a group of Filipino Kali practitioners who call themselves KALI MAKATI.
The group is lead by Master Kit Acenas, an expert in the art of Filipino Kali. Guro Kit is a student of Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje and Tuhon Rommel Tortal.
Kali Makati meets for training at Legaspi Park, Makati on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:30 PM.
They were kind of enough to invite me to teach a workshop on Filipino Dirty Boxing last night (April 16 2015).
They are an amazing group of people, very friendly and welcoming!
We had an great evening of training Dirty Boxing!
Then we all went out for Mexican food and drinks at Chupakabra in Makati.
