JIU-JITSU

BrazilianJiu-Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu “The Gentle Art” is the top grappling system in the world today. Originating from Japan, Jiu-Jitsu became popular in Brazil after Mitsuyo Maeda, a professional fighter with over 2,000 fights immigrated to Brazil and shared the art with Carlos Gracie and other members of the Brazilian Gracie Family.

The Gracie Family promoted and taught the art in Brazil and it grew in popularity and is now one of the world’s most popular martial arts after being displayed in the first Ultimate Fighting Championship by Royce Gracie.

In today’s day and age, it’s mandatory to have some Jiu-Jitsu skills to be able to survive altercations in a world where children grow up watching UFC and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

It is highly recommended that you acquire as much Jiu-Jitsu knowledge as possible for self-defense situations.
