Fights usually start as one on one ordeals, however most people looking for trouble travel in packs. Fighting on the ground is not a good idea in the street because a second and third individual might jump in.

Even if you are winning on the ground, if another assailant comes along, he can easily kick or knee your teeth in! It’s best to get back to your feet so you have a chance to fight off a second individual or RUN should you choose to do so.
